You only have to rebind keyboard commands like strafe down wich is set to LALT on standard. To clarify, in Steam, Big Picture Mode -> Settings -> Controller Settings, take checkbox off Generic Gamepad Support. I had the same issue where my vanilla X52 wasnt in the controller section at all, until I did the above. Otherwise, it’s acting as a shift button, but only for commands mapped in the X52 profiler. This will make the pinkie switch into a standard button. select the new profile in the X52 icon in the taskbar so that it turns green and the throttle display shows the profile name. I kept the bindings as I made them previously with Joystick Gremmlin running and - tadaaa - the pinkie worked as LALT-modifier key with throttle lights and MFD running. Go into Big Picture Mode in Steam and disable general controller settings. Delete the 3 modes that say Mode x + Shift. So I deinstalled Joystick Gremlin, vJoy and HidGuardian, reinstalled the original X52 pro driver and mapped the LALT to my HOTAS again via official software. I think this is because HidGuardian hides the X52 and only vJoy is recognized as a game controller. Next attempt was via Joystick Gremlin: Jostick Gremlinįor this you will also need the two tools vJoy and HidGuardian which can be installed via AutoWhitelister.Īfter setting up my X52 pinkie as LALT via Joystick Gremlin I rebound my ingame controlls and it all worked perfectly well but I reallized there were no lights/MFD on my X52 throttle. I tried to remap the button to LALT inside Logitech software but that also didn't work. Problem: SC doesn't recognize that little pinkie switch as a modifier key.
